Getting There

Hermosillo International Airport (HMO) on the west side of town is the main arrival point for visitors coming by air. Drive time to downtown Hotel Colonial is about 20 minutes and could stretch up to 30 minutes in normal city traffic conditions. The easiest safest ways are with an official airport taxi from one of the stands or using a ride-hailing app like Uber or DiDi which has wide coverage in the city.

For those traveling by long-distance bus, the main terminal, Central de Autobuses de Hermosillo is located toward the southern part of the city center. From there, normal city taxis or ride-hailing services will take you to the hotel in a journey that may last about 15-20 minutes. This makes the place easily approachable for travelers coming from other cities of Mexico.

Should you be driving in, getting to the hotel is simple since it sits right on the main central plazas. The top plus for drivers: the hotel's own secure parking lot. Parking in the old downtown is very hard to find, so having this private safe spot come with your stay is a big plus that takes away much worry and makes the hotel just right for those on a road trip.
